Poison Dwarf

Well proud to have been invited to the moors by Glyn. What a wet time we had, but we found some boxes.

I feel I have made lots of new friends and acquaintances. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and I hope to be returning regularly and earning my 100 club badge real soon.

It is a fantastic hobby and is open to all ages; there is something about the moors that would interest you even if it was not your sort of thing. The moors are so full of natural history and so tranquil that its almost magnetic. In all honesty I did not feel that this was my sort of thing. But I cannot wait to return, how wrong I was.

The whole trip was made more comfortable knowing that I was in the company of experienced Letterboxers. This is so important as safety is the most important factor when walking the Moors. You never know what is around the next corner also the weather changes so fast that you have to be prepared for all eventualities. At this time of year I think that everyone going onto the moors should carry a thermal wrap. This is so you can do your stamping in the dry, not to keep warm.

To all the others going onto the moors have fun & keep safe.
